AK’s Guide to SuitsAn introduction to the finer details of menswear, and how to get them right in your… aw, hell, why am I describing it here? Read the intro!
Thanks, this will be useful ;u;
This is going to be REALLY RELEVANT for anyone reading the next few chapters of Amber and Linen, to the extent that I might link it as a reference….

This is Mark Wallinger‘s “Time and Relative Dimensions in Space 2001″, a life-sized mirrored model of the TARDIS from Doctor Who which at certain angles seems to blend into its environment. It was exhibited at The Hayward Gallery in February 2009.
“I have always been interested in how we define and are defined by thresholds and boundaries, the events of history. The works in the exhibition use illusion, artifice and dislocating devices to look at our accidental time and place in the world afresh.” - Mark Wallinger
so awesome.
FUCKING EPIC.

Tom Hiddleston as Prince Hal in the BBC’s ‘The Hollow Crown’ | Oil on cartridge paper
So this is what I did today! I’m doing a project on “marred perfection” - i.e. why would you have your portrait painted if you’re muddy/bloody/etc. - and, you know, Tom Hiddleston, Prince Hal, gorgeous cinematography, Tom Hiddleston, etc..
I put a couple of process shots in at the beginning, and an ~atmosphere shot~ of me on the floor (watching Avatar: The Last Airbender, and my desktop is this awesome photo I found on StumbleUpon, but I have no idea where it’s from, because I forgot to save it =/ If you know, tell me!) with a huge screenshot of Tom in the battle.
It took about 5-6 hours, I stopped just before tonight’s instalment of ‘The Hollow Crown’ (my thoughts: SGJWAKFJAFEJWGJAJQfeiwpgerhgeaioeoh so good.)
Anyway! Hope you like :)
Please don’t remove my credit/claim as your own if you reblog or anything (feel free to get rid of my waffle (though keep it if you want! Either way is cool), just leave the title/media and my credit :D), it took ages and I’m really proud of this :)
